		Erratic • Explosive • Volátil

	Cyn: Music has run through her veins since being a little girl. She started in the choir at 8 years old, and continued through high school. After graduating high school, she started her career as a soloist participating in various "Blues Jams" throughout Houston, with an audience between 50-100 people. By 2000, she joined "ReVolú", and this experience helped her grow as an artist. She's participated in other events in Houston, such as Heineken Estrella, where she was one of the top finalists. Her influences include Nikka Costa, Led Zeppelin, Gwen Stefani of No Doubt, Julieta Venegas, and Aterciopelados. Cyn also has her calm side. In 2002, she graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications: Media Production. She has also worked in the production of various independent films. But with Volátil, she's ready to show the world what she is made of!

	Slick Rick: At age 5, he was imitating Ace Frehely, guitarist of Kiss. But he didn't begin playing the guitar until he was 16 years old. What motivated him to learn was the song "Revolution" by the Beatles. From there, his influences expanded, some of which include: Carlos Santana, Jimmy Hendrix, Lenny Kravitz, and Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, among others. In the late '90s he was part of several Tejano groups in Houston. Rock en Español began to grow in Houston, and that was his calling. Along with his father, they formed the group "ReVolú" where he began to enjoy performing. Slick Rick is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. By day, he works at MD Anderson Cancer Center, finding the cure for cancer. By night, he becomes a total rocker! He's ready to take Volátil to the next level!
